What is HELPtech?
The HELPtech® (Heavy Equipment Loss Prevention Technology) service allows equipment owners to register the serial numbers and other machine information on NER's database that is widely used by law enforcement. This enables an officer to identify the machine's ownership at any time of day, even before a theft has been discovered, significantly increasing the chances of recovery. Thousands of machines have been recovered in this way. Registered machines are also marked with HELPtech warning decals to alert potential thieves to the increased risk of arrest, deterring theft.

Is My Data Secure?
Yes. The principle of keeping your data secure is central to the mission and operations of NER. NER's systems and processes are of the highest industry standards and are regularly subjected to outside audit. Your data is only ever used for the purpose for you provided it to NER.
