After launching loss reporting for the insurance industry via ISO ClaimSearch® in August, National Equipment Register, Inc. (NER) announces the release of an on-line theft reporting capability which allows NER clients who are not members of ClaimSearch to report equipment losses to NER.
Equipment owners, fleet managers, and Third Party Administrators can now submit theft reports to be included in NER’s national database of stolen equipment via secure internet forms. This step will also allow insurance companies not linked to ISO ClaimSearch the opportunity to submit their losses and take advantage of NER’s services. This reporting process will dovetail with the existing reports from member insurance companies through ClaimSearch.
Using the "Submit a Theft" link on NERusa.com, users can report a theft occurrence to NER securely, in detail, and immediately on one simple form. This new format will provide the detail, speed and nationwide coverage never before seen in the fight against equipment theft.
Since launching its services to law enforcement earlier this month, NER has seen a huge demand for accurate loss information. This on-line theft reporting capability is one more way in which NER is responding to this demand.
